The Celestial Triad
| Tiers | The Sun · The Moon · The Stars |
| Bound by | Celestial Law |
| Worshipped by | The Order of the Celestium and others |
In Caelthys, the people worship celestials instead of gods. Three tiers rule the cosmos.
Overview
- The Celestial Triad is the structure of the divine.
- It has three tiers: the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars.
- Together they shape light and shadow, life and death, knowledge and mystery.
- The Triad is about balance, not conflict.
The Three Tiers
| Tier | Celestial | Role |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Solarin, the Sun | Creator. Sets the constants of reality: structure, life, continuity |
| 2 | Lunira, the Moon | Transformer. Governs change, endings, and the in-between |
| 3 | The Cosmic Legion, the Stars | Administrators. Each holds one domain, such as war, peace, knowledge, storms, or magic |
Balance
- Solarin and Lunira are not good and evil.
- They are light and dark, constant and change, order and chaos.
- Their push and pull keeps the world moving.
- The Sun sets the constants.
- The Moon brings change, so the cycle of creation and dissolution continues.
- The Stars tend the fine details.
- The Stars serve as children or servants of the Sun and Moon.
Law
- Solarin made Celestial Law to keep order in the celestial realm.
- Breaking it means banishment.
Worship
- Mortals may revere one celestial, a constellation, or the whole Legion.
- The Order of the Celestium worships all celestials together.
